Blog Crush: Studio Sweet Studio

Have you heard about Studio Sweet Studio?  If not you should definitely check them out, like right now.  As someone who finds a lot of inspiration in all things visual, it's the perfect combination of graphic design, art, fashion, and interior design all in one.  The creators Megan and Tuesday, post inspiration, interviews with artists, and also my favorite feature, studio tours!  Always inspiring to see how other people create their work and organize their space.

Dayle and Eve Living

I'm so excited to give a big shout out to one of my crafty friends Dayle today.  We met through various Kansas City creative events, and she sells the cutest products through her brand Sodapop.  Dayle is a handmaker of things who has been working hard to make her business dreams come true and has just launched a new venture with her friend Melissa, Dayle and Eve Living.

Welcome 2

And here's Dayle and her P.I.C. Melissa

Please support this great new venture by checking out their website, and joining their Facebook and Twitter groups.

Blog Crush: This Time Tomorrow

There have been plenty of times that I find a cute item of clothing and I'm just not sure how to style it.  I consider myself pretty innovative with my own sense of style, but some lovely pieces pose special challenges.  So it's always nice to have great fashion blogs to turn to for styling advice.  Enter "This Time Tomorrow", one of my favorite fashionistas.

Her outfits always have lots of layers and fun elements (especially the shoes an accessories).  Plus she gets a lot of her items from thrift stores, F21, Urban, or H&M, so the style she demonstrates isn't unattainable for the average girl.  Plus her hair, ugh, it's to die for!  Here's a few of my favorite recent outfit posts:

This one's my favorite, love the pastel florals with the black and leather:

Blog Crush: Kjerstis Lykke

I stumbled across the blog of Norwegian interior designer and photographer Kjerstis Lykke the other day via a photo on Tumblr.

Untitled-1
This was the image I saw, what a great way to use this Martha Stewart Craft Punch!

I was immediately enchanted with the look and feel of her home, and photos of her travels.  Everything has a cool white glow, so you can almost feel the crisp Norwegian air when you look at her images.  Plus from what I can tell the entire interior of her house is white.  I'm nuts about color, but have always been drawn to interiors in shades of all white and grey.  I think in the right house it's a beautiful thing.  Visit Kjerstis' blog and see all of her amazing pics.

Blog Crush: Studio Choo

I was told to check out Studio Choo's floral design by my sweet friend Jessie.  I have to say that I've been drooling over their blog every since.  They have a group shop called the Prarie Collective in San Francisco, that carries lots of lovely items besides fresh flowers.  I love their floral design style, and when I grow up I want to have a beautiful shop just like them.  Seriously, check them out.  No do it, like right now!

I wanted to take a moment today and share with you my latest blog obsession, Fleur Chicago.  As someone whose fairly new to the industry I am constantly learning new things, and I think it's important to stay on top of what's going on in the industry.  I research flowers like it's my job...oh wait, it is!  I came across the Fleur blog the other night and it's a rare thing that I read a new blog all the way to it's beginning, but for this one I just had to.  Take a look and you'll see why:

Summer in Versailles

I feel like I've been traveling a lot this summer, and of course loving every minute of it.  However I came across these beautiful pictures taken by the talented Taza over at rockstar diaries.  Summer in Versailles, how could a girl not be jealous?

Happy Blogoversary to the Concrete Catwalk

Although my week is packed to the gills with things to do, it would be silly of me not to mention that my dear friend Jessie of the Concrete Catwalk is celebrating her blogs one year anniversary this week.  And how is she celebrating you might be asking?  Well my lovelies, she's found some super cool sponsors to give away prizes on her site, one of them being yours truly.

Go to her site right now and leave a comment on any of the prize posts to be entered for a chance to win, plus check out the rest of her blog all about Kansas City street style.  Find my post here and you could win this enameled key lariat necklace, but hurry and enter today, comments close on June 29th.  Good luck!

Blog Crush: green wedding shoes

I'm back!  Vacation was lovely, and we had such a good time, but I'm happy to be home again and getting back to work.

The Wedding Hive is gearing up for it's annual event February 25th in Kansas City.  We've been searching for hair and make-up inspiration for the fashion show, and I stumbled upon what I would consider one of the most lovely wedding blogs I've ever seen green wedding shoes.  As someone in the wedding industry, it's so important for me to stay current with what's happening, and I find this blog so inspiring that I wish wedding season started tomorrow.  So well edited with the best photos and creative weddings.

Here's a few of my favorites, but visit the site to find more delicious images.
