For the Love of Flower: Will and Lea

My very favorite events to work on are ones for my friends.  It's not often that I get to actually attend a clients wedding, and see them enjoy the fruits of our labor.  I've known Will since I was 15 years old, and he and Lea are a perfect pair.  Both of them love the arts, and Lea gave me her color palette, and an awful lot of creative freedom.  Bright pinks, reds, oranges, greens, and touches of yellow made up the floral palette, and we threw in some lovely teal blue with our collection of vintage glassware.  Doing Will and Lea's flowers reminded me a lot of my wedding with the bright, bold color scheme, and we had a lot of fun celebrating with them and all our friends that night.  Thank you both for hosting such a fun event, and for letting us be part of your day!  Also to K&D Photography for the lovely images of the happy couple. For the bouquet we used garden roses, ranunculus, freesia, billy balls, and lily of the valley from Will and Lea's garden.

We created a fun crepe paper installation on the wall with white lights, and added arrangements with cherry branches and hydrangea.

For the Love of Flowers: Mandy and Charles

When I met with Mandy she had a very clear vision of what she wanted for her wedding, which always make my job super easy.  Her color palette, royal blue, pink, and white is one that we haven't worked with before, and I was excited to take on these fun, traditionally preppy colors.  She painted all the frames for each table, and together we brainstormed centerpieces that were lovely, and also budget friendly.  Thanks for letting us be part of your day Mandy and Charles, and also for providing me lovely pictures taken by epaga foto. Hey friends,  just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy fourth of July holiday.  Hope every one is celebrating with good food, family and friends, and maybe a sparkler or two (or more if that's your thing).  Happy Birthday America!

Events: Tables That Bloom

Back in April I participated in a fun local fundraiser called Tables That Bloom hosted by Delta Gamma.  Julie, from Coordinately Yours, and I brainstormed ideas and created a concept for the table design.  We went with a sherbert themed palette with lots of pinks, peaches, and oranges, and lovely lush leafy greens.  A big thank you to Amanda Eaton Photography for capturing everything for us, even in such ridiculous florescent light everything looks lovely!
